Vera Farmiga Online was first going to be just a fanlisting back in 2006, but after searching the internet and I wasn't able to find any bigger fansites on Vera - I decided to make her my own personal tribute!

I updated and run this site from 2006-2008, but because of personal issues, I had to leave it and give it to someone else. I kept on following Vera's career and I was so happy to see that she and her work was getting more attention. Now in 2011, I was offered to get the site back, a chance I took at once - and here I am!

I have admired Vera and her work since early in her career and I think she is the most interesting actress and director in Hollywood today. Not only is incredible talented, intelligent, beautiful and funny, she also has something special about her that most people in the business miss. I find her to be such a strong and inspirational woman that haven't given up for the all too shallow world of Hollywood.

The site is an unofficial fansite dedicated to the great Ukraine/American actress Vera Farmiga. Born in Stockholm and still residing there and currently studying to become a payroll administrator. I live together with my boyfriend and my ex-stray dog in a small apartment and the little time I spend online I use on websites to get my organizing and movie geek needs filled.

Been a fan of Vera’s work since I saw 15 Minutes (2001) and Iron Jawed Angels (2004) but it wasn't until I saw Down to the Bone (2004) that I was completely stuck. I think that performance was and still is one of the best ones I have ever seen! After that have I seen most of Vera’s films since I started to follow her career.

It’s always a joy to see what Vera has coming up and I love the fact that she has a bigger chance to choose her projects and that she hopefully will continue her amazing work as a director.
